Combining atmospheric darkness with an indie sensibility, Lissy Taylor’s new track, ‘Wildflowers’ proves that her debut single, ‘May Day’ was anything but a one-off. You can see how her early days of playing acoustic covers have transformed into a mature, thick-textured (but still guitar-driven) strand of catchy pop, fronted by a unique and recognisable voice.
